From the SAATKORN cooperation with Jens Bender (WorkTech Advisory) here are  the WorkTech M&A Highlights February 2026. February’s deals landed against a backdrop of intense debate about AI’s impact on SaaS business models — yet consolidation rolled on, with payroll, workforce management, talent acquisition, and benefits again leading the charge. Structural drivers remain familiar: buy-and-build strategies backed by PE, suite expansion into adjacent HR segments, and cross-border market access — particularly ahead of upcoming EU Pay Transparency legislation.

  • VEDA GmbH (DE) acquired LOHNunion (DE), advancing its buy-and-build strategy in payroll software and services
  • Totalmobile (UK) and Solvares Group (DE) merged, creating an international leader in field service and workforce optimisation
  • SD Worx (BE) acquired Paie & RH Solutions (FR) and invested in Yeap (FR), deepening its French SME and midmarket payroll footprint
