In this episode of the ‘amtlich voran’ podcast, I speak to Susann Schmid, Head of the Recruitment and Marketing Centre of Excellence at the City of Munich, about the introduction of a new ATS.
After many years in HR consultancy and executive search, Susann joined the City of Munich in 2019 – with a clear mission: to modernise recruitment and consistently align it with the needs of applicants and departmental teams.
A lot has happened since then! Traditional administrative processes have been transformed into a modern, cloud-based recruitment process that integrates recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
One thing Susann said really stuck with me:
“But simply having software that’s supposed to be used or implemented doesn’t in itself make for good recruitment.”
