KINI co-founder and CEO FABIAN SCHEIB on the podcast

Fabian-Scheib Kini Recruiting Infrastruktur

How can recruitment infrastructure become smarter, faster and more transparent, FABIAN SCHEIB?

In this episode of the SAATKORN podcast, I speak to Fabian Scheib, co-founder and CEO of KINI. Together with his co-founder Julia, Fabian is building the connecting infrastructure for modern recruitment: KINI links applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, agencies, screening solutions, social recruiting channels and new AI tools. What began as a way to simplify ATS integrations has now become a broader mission: to better connect recruitment systems and thereby enable greater transparency and data-driven recruitment. Around 65 systems are already available ‘out of the box’ on KINI — and the company, with its team of seven, is already operating profitably.

A quote from Fabian sums up the vision rather well:

“At the end of the day, we at KINI see ourselves as the connecting link.”

Among other things, we discussed the following topics:

🔗 An end to interface chaos

Instead of job boards, agencies or recruitment tools having to repeatedly build their own integrations with numerous systems, KINI provides the necessary infrastructure — and can get specific use cases up and running, in some cases, within a matter of weeks.

📊 Where do your applications really come from?

Better data flows between recruitment channels and the ATS reveal which job boards, social media channels or other sources actually generate applications — a crucial foundation if you want to manage your recruitment budget in a data-driven way.

🤖 When AI agents complement traditional interfaces

KINI is currently working on using AI agents to retrieve jobs from career sites and feed applications back into the relevant systems. Traditional APIs remain particularly relevant for long-term partnerships — but for shorter-term use cases, AI agents could open up entirely new possibilities.
