How can Worktech revolutionise occupational pension schemes, Marc Karkossa?

Mark Karkossa, Dyno baV, SAATKORN HR, start-up

In this episode of the SAATKORN podcast, I speak to Marc Karkossa, co-founder and CEO of DYNO. Marc grew up in the world of insurance and has first-hand experience of traditional occupational pension schemes. Today, with DYNO, he is reimagining precisely this system – using technology, automation, ETFs and a consistent focus on the user experience. One thing Marc said really stuck with me: “Ultimately, we’re passionate about making the most of every euro we have available in Germany to build up a pension – and that’s why that euro must generate the maximum possible pension.”

Among other things, we discussed the following topics:

🚀 From an outdated insurance product to a Pension Operating System

DYNO integrates with existing HR and payroll systems and creates a ‘single source of truth’ – making occupational pensions significantly simpler, more transparent and more automated for HR, employees and all other stakeholders.

🤖 How AI makes DYNO extremely scalable

With just nine staff members, DYNO has managed to onboard more than 600 companies in around two and a half years – and Marc explains the crucial role AI plays in onboarding, document processing, data verification and the individual employee experience.

💰 Why transparency and lower costs could transform occupational pension schemes

High commissions, a lack of transparency and complicated processes characterise many traditional occupational pension schemes – Marc shows why technology, ETF-based investments and greater cost transparency can fundamentally change this whilst simultaneously taking a massive load off HR.
