CORPHEA in the SAATKORN HR Start-up Series

Corphea HR Tech WorkTech Startup SAATKORN

As part of the SAATKORN HR Start-up Series, I’d like to introduce you to CORPHEA today. – I had the opportunity to speak to Managing Director Dr Dunja Glasmacher (pictured here with her co-founders). Let’s get started:

SAATKORN: Please introduce yourself to SAATKORN readers!

With CORPHEA,

we make workplace health measurable and manageable. As an HR tech solution, CORPHEA

helps companies design health management programmes that are data-driven, efficient and demonstrably effective.

Behind CORPHEA

is SCENTS HEALTH GmbH,

an interdisciplinary team specialising in health, technology and business. We combine scientific insights with digital solutions to help companies keep their employees healthy and productive in the long term.

CORPHEA identifies stressors and health risks, analyses their causes and provides data-driven recommendations for action. This enables measures to be implemented in a targeted manner and their effectiveness to be measured. For healthier employees, more efficient HR processes and more commercially successful companies!

SAATKORN: What is the story behind the founding of your HR start-up?

The idea for CORPHEA

arose from a desire to use our scientific and technological expertise to create as much social value as possible. It quickly became clear that the workplace offers the greatest potential for impact. Here, companies reach millions of people and invest considerable resources in health every year, often without knowing which measures actually work.

Our market research confirmed this impression: workplace health management lacks reliable data and a sound basis for decision-making. This is precisely what led to the creation of CORPHEA

. Our aim is to transform health management from a reactive measure into a data-driven management discipline, so that companies can strategically manage health and build organisations that are healthier, more productive and more economically successful in the long term.

SAATKORN: What is your mission – what problem are you aiming to solve?

Reduce sick leave – boost productivity. Our mission is to support companies in achieving business success whilst keeping employees healthy, productive and motivated in the long term. To this end, we make health management measurable, data-driven and demonstrably effective. By providing a sound basis for decision-making, we reduce administrative burden and empower companies to manage health strategically.

SAATKORN: What is the business model of your HR start-up?

Our business model is structured in two tiers. With CORPHEA light,

we offer companies a low-threshold entry point via a one-off analysis of their health and stress situation. This quickly provides them with a sound basis for decision-making regarding the next steps.

For companies wishing to manage health strategically and over the long term, we offer CORPHEA

as a SaaS solution under a licensing model. The platform grows in line with our clients’ requirements and can be flexibly expanded in the future with additional modules, for example for occupational health and safety or workplace integration management (BEM).

SAATKORN: What is your ideal customer profile?

With CORPHEA light

, we target companies with around 70 employees or more; with CORPHEA,

we target companies with around 200 employees or more. Our clients come from a wide variety of sectors, but they all have one thing in common: they view health as a strategic success factor and no longer wish to respond reactively to the challenges of skills shortages, rising sickness absence and staff turnover, but instead want to make well-informed decisions based on data.

SAATKORN: In which countries do you offer your products and services?

We currently offer our solutions in German-speaking countries (DACH). As CORPHEA is entirely digital, the platform can easily be adapted to other languages. Initial concrete enquiries from Spain confirm that the demand for data-driven health management extends far beyond the DACH market.

SAATKORN: What is your vision – where do you want to be in three years’ time?

In three years’ time, we aim to have established CORPHEA as the standard for data-driven health management in the DACH region. Our aim is to become the go-to platform that enables companies to strategically manage health and make its effectiveness measurable. At the same time, we want to build a strong brand that stands for scientific evidence, trust and sustainable business success.

SAATKORN: If you had three wishes, what would they be?

  1. Companies see health as a strategic success factor.
  2. Work empowers people rather than making them ill.
  3. Companies make HR decisions based on data rather than gut feeling.

SAATKORN: How and where can potential clients contact you?

Email: dunja.glasmacher@corphea.com

SAATKORN: Thank you for the interview, Dunja. We wish you continued enjoyment and success with CORPHEA.
