Here are the Worktech funding rounds for August 2026 – as always in cooperation with Jens Bender from Worktech Advisory:
KEY EUROPEAN FUNDING ROUNDS
Flip (🇩🇪) – €25M round from existing investors Notion Capital and HV expanding their stake, joined by new investor L-Bank (development bank of Baden-Württemberg) plus a consortium of angels & institutional investors: Funding the infrastructure to accelerate AI adoption for deskless, frontline workers.
neno (🇳🇱) – €6.6M Seed led by AlleyCorp, with Motive Partners & firstminute capital plus angels from Juni, Mollie, Deel, PayPal, Navro, Miro, Coinbase & Hugging Face: Building AI-native financial services for Europe’s 26M SMEs — more than half still stuck in the „broken middle,“ outsourcing accounting, payroll & tax to a ~€200B professional services industry.
Palette (🇩🇰) – €3M pre-seed led by Ugly Duckling Ventures, with Emblem, Acadian Ventures & angels: Building the OS for AI-native teams — company knowledge, decisions & ways of working kept in one place, usable with any model provider.
Safehire.ai (🇬🇧) – £0.5M follow-on from a private investor, on top of its £1.05M Seed from April 2025 (total now £1.55M): Scaling digital risk screening — surfacing behavioural risk & online exposure that traditional background checks miss — into high-trust sectors.
Educa360 (🇪🇸) – €0.3M backing from MainJobs and Fundalogy (a Unicaja subsidiary): VR curriculum content platform for teachers, coordinators & students across formal and alternative education models.
Additional smaller/undisclosed rounds:
